A sad and sudden death occurred on Thursday June the 16th when Robert Joseph Galida passed away at aged 73. Robert was a proud member of UA Local 67 Hamilton, Plumbers and Pipefitters for the past 50 years. Robert enjoyed spending the winters in Vero Beach Florida and the warm summer months near his hometown of Brantford. Dear father of Joe, Robbie and Shawnna. Proud Papa of Natalie and Christopher McDougald, Joshua, Johnathan, Elija and Jessica Galida and great granddaughter Samantha. A private ceremony is being held for the family prior to cremation. Friends and Family are invited to a Celebration of Life that is being held on Thursday, June 23rd from 2 to 4 in the Carriage House at Thorpe Brothers Funeral Home, 96 West Street Brantford, Ontario.
