Dear Dad, you were always a quiet gentle soul,I always loved watching you with your grandchildren , the trips to Quickie and the Dollar store to buy them junk but to each of them it was a treasure, they couldn't wait to go see Papa. We will miss all the laughter and love you brought into our lives. Every time I see a chocolate chip cookie I will always think of you, and I will drink a Mud Slide in honour of you!! May our Dear Lord take care of you now, you will forever be in our hearts! Rest in eternal peace Dad!!❤

Dad, Thankyou for over 50 years of love, guidance, patience and laughs. You were a quiet man with the kindest of hearts. You were always there to give great advice or just to listen with a caring heart. I will always smile remembering all of the “OH PAPA” moments and the laughter that went along with them. No one will ever make better toast than you!! Every time any of us have a hotdog we will be sure to make a “cheers” to you. You will always be in my heart forever. Rest in the sweetest peace❤️ xoxo

Our deepest sympathies to Anne, Bill, Susanne, Anita and their families. Ron was such a sweet and gentle man, so warm and humble, and we feel very blessed to have shared so many happy occasions with him. His love for his family was always so evident and we pray that the beautiful memories that they all hold dear, will live in their hearts for always. May he rest now in peace. ❤️xo

Papa was always a second father to me. I loved him dearly!! He was such a kind and caring man who loved his family more then anything. His sense of humour kept us laughing for so many years. I will miss him so very much. He was a huge Detroit Red Wings fan and he loved bugging me about my Maple Leafs and it wasn’t until the last couple of years that I could bug him about how bad his Wings were and how good my Leafs were. I was so blessed to have him in my life. We all were. God Bless you Dad and rest in the peace of our Lord. John xoxo

I can still see your family sitting near us Sunday mornings at St Pius, during our High School days. I remember Mr. Mayer as a quiet and gentle man. My deepest condolences for your loss.
