It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Rosita Grace Furnace, surrounded by her family, on November 5, 2016 in her 77th year. Beloved wife of John for 55 years. Loving mother of Tracy (Ted) Laberge, Sara (Dennis) Colautti and Steven (Tammy). Dear Nana to Lindsay, Wesley, Brittany, Chelsea, Beth and Jessica and great-nana to Tristin, Montana, Trinity and one on the way. Sadly missed by many other family and friends here and abroad. A special thank you to Diana and Nurse Rose as well as the nurses at the Brantford General Hospital Palliative Care Unit. The family will receive friends at the “THORPE BROTHERS’ FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL”, 96 West Street, on Monday, November 14, 2016 from 6pm-9pm and Tuesday, November 15, 2016 from 10am – 11am at which time we will process to the Mount Hope Cemetery for a Graveside Service. Cremation has taken place.
