It is with great sorrow the family of Ruby Alice Leonard announces her passing on Wednesday, March 23, 2011 at St. Joseph’s Lifecare Centre. Ruby was born on February 9, 1928 at Golden Lake Reserve, Ontario. Loving mother of Patrick (Barbara), Judith Fletcher (Kerry), Linda Prokopiec (Tom), Timothy, as well as her loving daughter-in-law Jill Stanley (Phil). Dear grandmother of Christopher, Camille, Evan, Shane and great grandmother of Coleman, Carmine, Grayson and Emmett. Ruby will be dearly missed by sisters, brothers, nieces, nephews, as well as her many friends. Pre-deceased by her son Bruce and granddaughter Sherri Lynn. She was a long time active member of Freedom Christian Community. Family and friends will be received at “THORPE BROTHERS FUNERAL HOME and CHAPEL” 96 West Street on Saturday, March 26, 2011 from 12 pm to 1 pm. Memorial service at 1 pm in the chapel.
