I met Ted in 1986 when I started to work at Koehring. I was fresh from northern Quebec and spoke very little English. Ted kind of took me under his wings and helped me a lot. He would explain to me the jokes going around the break lunch table in a slow and simple English so I would “get them”.
We also became quite good friends after he helped me find a town house to rent next to his on Henry Street, and we did spend some time working on my Mustang together. When going for a cruise with it, I would ask him to come along so he could tell me where it was OK to “Punch it” and where you had to drive carefully because of law enforcement presence in the area. Ahh, the good times.
I always loved the guy.
My most sincere condolences to the family.
Pierre Fortin,
Tigercat Employee.

I have known Ted since 1985 when we worked at Koehring Waterous with most of the Laberge Family and currently at Tigercat.
There was a lot of fun at work with the guys and Billy Clark, I am so saddened at the passing of Ted.
Gone way too soon.
My thoughts go out to the Laberge family.
