After a full life, Teresa passed away peacefully on March 26th, 2018 at the Brantford General Hospital in her 94th year.
Beloved wife of the late Leonard Walsh. Loving mother of Patrick, Michael, Mary (Mark) and Cathy. Dearly loved by grandchildren Kyle (Melissa), Aaron (Carlie), Matthew (Mandy), Stephen (Melissa), Kevin, Timmy (Alison), Chrissie (Alex), Katie, Lynn (Steve), Michelle (Jamie), Jamie (Chantelle), Landin (Vanessa), Michael and Reba. Treasured great-grandma to Felix, Parker, Landan, Rielle, Kaya, Olivia, Emma, Kendall, Logan, Meadow, Willow, Jordan, Deanna, Brandon, Samantha, Carly, Cameron and Maxwell. Predeceased by her sister Anne, brother Bishop Thomas Lobsinger and parents Rueben and Leone Lobsinger. Survived by sister Joan Luciani. Teresa is also survived by many cousins, nieces, nephews and extended family members. Teresa was a proud R.N. of the class of 1945 of St. Joseph’s Hamilton Alumni. She started at Brantford General Hospital and moved on to become Head Nurse at the Brantford Clinic. Cremation has taken place and family and friends will be received at the “THORPE BROTHERS’ FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL”, 96 West St., Brantford, ON, on Friday, April 13th, 2018 from 2-4pm and 7-9pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, April 14th, 2018 at St. Basil’s Roman Catholic Church, 50 Palace St., Brantford, ON, at 10am. Interment to follow at St. Joseph’s Catholic Cemetery, St. Paul’s Avenue, Brantford, ON.
