Peacefully at the Brantford General Hospital on Sunday October 23rd, 2011 at the age of 84. Predeceased by his wife Delta Gaulton. Dear father of Sue Simpson and dear grandfather of David, Barb, Gordie, Ernie, Sarah , Michelle and great grandfather to 14. He is loved by all his family and friends. Howie was a long time employee of the Ford Motor Company. The family will receive friends at the “Thorpe Brothers Funeral Home and Chapel”, 96 West Street, on Wednesday October 26th from 10:30 am. to 11:30 am. Funeral Service in the chapel at 11:30 am. Followed by cremation. Pastor Ron Humphries to officiate.
