HILBORN, Winifred - August 28, 1914 ~ September 24, 2011 - It is with deep sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of Winifred Hilborn at St. Joseph's Life care Centre. Pre-deceased by her husband Clifford in 1943. Fondly remembered by daughter Kathryn Crowe, granddaughter Allison (Joel) Fraser and grandson Andy Crowe. Loving great grandma to Aidan and Camryn Fraser. She was well known for her skilled needlework on various church linens, beautiful hand smocked dresses and much treasured “Grannie Winnie“ sweaters. Special thanks to the caring staff at St.Joseph's. Family and friends will be received at THORPE BROTHERS FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL, on Friday, September 30, 2011, from 2 - 4 pm.
