Alexander Reden Mercado, resident of Silverdale Washington, was born on October 23rd, 1956 in Manila, Philippines to loving parents Alfredo and Ester (Delosantos) Mercado. Alexander was surrounded by his loved ones when passing at his residence on February 11th, 2020 in Silverdale Washington. Alexander was preceded in death by his parents, Alfredo and Ester Mercado. He is survived by his wife Maria Victoria Bolanos Mercado and his two sons Alistair Vonne Mercado and Alain Van Mercado. Alexander graduated High School from Central Kitsap High school in the year 1975 and married his wife, Maria, in Manila, Philippines on August 29th, 1981. The majority of his career Alexander spent proudly serving in the United States Navy and he retired as Petty Officer First Class after twenty years of service. He also provided Transportation Services for both the Central Kitsap School District and Suquamish Clearwater Casino. Alexander loved casting his fishing line in the waters of Mexico, his dachshund “Sam”, action packed movies, Filipino food, and BMW’s. He taught us to value things no matter how big or small they are and the importance of learning how to fix and build things for yourself. Alexander is greatly missed and fondly loved; he will be remembered through the legacy he built with his family, especially his sons.
