Alfred Raymond Bilyeu, lovingly known as “Bill,” passed away peacefully in his sleep on August 3, 2024, at Fieldstone Communities in Silverdale, WA. He was a resident of Kitsap County, WA and was born on September 16, 1938, in Springfield, IL, to John Edmond Bilyeu & Luelle Monica Bilyeu (Fagan).
Bill is survived in death by his wife of 48 years, Janet L. Bilyeu and his step-children, Douglas Monroe and wife Lynette, Pamella Perron and husband Bernie; grandchildren: Michael Griffiths, Ashley Nieto (Henz), Megyn Weber-Kerney (Henz), Kelsi Monroe & Cori Monroe, and great-grandchildren: Meira, Kylie, Dale, Aiden, Evelyn, Alaina, Edgar, Kimberly, Gracie, Zachary & Olivia.
Bill proudly served in the United States Navy for 32 years as a diesel mechanic. He retired as a Master Chief, on multiple submarines. He was stationed in many places such as Pensacola, FL, San Diego, CA and Bremerton, WA to name a few.
