Amy Velasquez Prieto

Amy was born in Noveleta, Cavite, to Celerina Salles and Nemencio Velasquez. She dedicated many years of her life to education as a retired teacher, leaving a lasting impact on the countless students whose lives she touched with her patience, kindness, and commitment to learning.

Amy embraced life with warmth and enthusiasm. She found joy in watching movies, spending quality time with friends, tending to her garden, and surrounding herself with beautiful flowers. She had a special talent for decorating her home, creating a welcoming place filled with comfort and love. Above all, Amy cherished connecting with people. Her friendly nature, genuine smile, and compassionate heart made everyone feel welcome, and she formed meaningful friendships wherever she went.

Amy will be remembered not only for her dedication as an educator but also for her generous spirit, her love of beauty, and the kindness she shared so freely with family, friends, neighbors, and everyone fortunate enough to know her. Her legacy of love, friendship, and compassion will continue to live on in the hearts of those she leaves behind.

Though she is no longer with us in person, Amy’s memory will forever bloom like the flowers she so dearly loved. She will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by all whose lives she touched.
