Anna Elizabeth Rogers

On Sunday July 12, 2015 at 4:30 pm. Anna Rogers has gone to be with her Savior. She passed away at home, in the presence of her loving family. At her passing, Anna was Lakebay Community Church's oldest active member, at 94 years old.

She was born Anna Elisabeth DeShane in 1920, at Sandycreek, New York. She moved to Springfield, Massachusetts when she was 15. There she met and married her husband, Derwood Rogers.

Anna had known her shares of trials, pains, and joys in life, and remained a faithful testimony to simple trust and faith in God. Her legacy lives on in the faith of her children, and in the impact she made on so many of us. We praise God for the time we had with her, and look forward to seeing her again on the day of Resurrection. Today, even as we mourn, we hold onto the truth that Anna is in the very presence of God. Peace to her memory.

Her grandchildren: Raymond Rogers, Richard Rogers, Robert Rogers, Russell Doel, Rebecca Doel, Rachel Churchill, Steven Doel, David Brian Rogers-Thieriot, Darlene Turner, David Sicotte Jr., Anthony Sicotte, Timothy Sicotte and Victoria Sicotte Patrick.

Her great-grandchildren: Rebecca Rogers, Andrew Rogers, Cameron Rogers, Justin Rogers, Sam Rogers, Noah Rogers, Ellie Rogers, Caleb Rogers, Judah Rogers, Nathan Richards, Steffanie Richards, Ashlei Doel, Kelli Doel, Ronnie Stanwood, Hunter Hillock, Sebastyen Hillock, Courtney Churchill, Jackie Churchill, Camden Rogers-Thieriot, Charlotte Rogers-Thieriot, Jennifer Sicotte, Madision Sicotte, Savannah Sicotte, Callie Sicotte, Lydia Sicotte, Kristofor Patrick, Blake Patrick.

We will all truly miss her.
