Annie was a member of Mount Zion Missionary Baptist Church. Cooking, crochet, needlepoint and sewing were her favorite hobbies.
Annie is survived by her sons, Hawthorne Jr. of Seattle and Melvin Porter of Knoxville, TN; daughters Sandra Bowers and Harriet Zuber of Bremerton; thirteen grandchildren; twenty-one great-grandchldren; seven great-great grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews and many friends.
Service is scheduled for Friday, January 18 at 1:00 pm at Mount Zion Missionary Baptist Church, 1906 13th, Bremerton. Interment will follow at Miller-Woodlawn Memorial Park.
