Arthur (Art) passed away on July 7, 2025 in Silverdale, WA. Born on December 2, 1943 in San Jose, CA. He was a devoted husband to Wanda Gamez for 49 years, until she passed, and a loving father to Michael Gamez and Nicole (Gamez) Stephens.
Art enjoyed a life full of family and friends that brought him a tremendous amount of joy and laughter, and of course his beloved 49ers.
Art is survived by his son Michael, daughter in law Laura, daughter, Nicole and son in law Andy; 7 grandchildren: Matt, Christian, Tyler, Shelby, Ashlyn, Noah and Zoe. Also brother, Rick and sister, Nancy; and nephews Jim, David and Matt Gamez.
We find comfort in knowing that Dad's legacy lives on through the lessons he taught us, the love he shared, and the memories we will cherish forever.
A private entombment of Arthur’s urn will be held on August 22nd, where his family will set Arthur to rest with his wife, Wanda. A separate Celebration of Life to celebrate the 50 years of life and love that Arthur and Wanda had together, will be held in Monterey, California, April 24th. As details are planned by the family more information will be provided.
