The world lost an amazing man on Aug 5, 2013, when Catalino P. Floresca entered into eternal rest. Born April 30, 1930 at Harrison Medical Center in Bremerton, Washington. Born April 30, 1930 in Bauang, La Union, Philippines, Catalino was the son of Esteban & Romana Floresca.
Catalino married Filomena Orodio on March 14, 1960 in Baguio City, Philippines, and they shared a love and a life for over 53 years. A proud patriot and retired US Navy veteran, Catalino was an accomplished electrician. Following his retirement from the Navy, he worked at Keyport for 12 years, and he also owned the Little PI Oriental Store for 35 years. He loved Filipino food, action movies, and seeing the world. He left a legacy for his family by teaching them the value of hard work and saving money. Though stubborn and “grouchy” on the outside, his family always knew he loved them, and he will be dearly missed by his wife, Filomena, & children, Glenn & Eileen.
Visitation for Catalino will be Sunday, Aug 11th at Miller-Woodlawn Funeral Home from 10 am - 8 pm. His Funeral Mass will be Monday, Aug 12th at Holy Trinity Catholic Church, with visitation beginning at 10, Rosary at 10:30, and Mass at 11:00.
