

Charlene Lavelle Whitlock, age 82, of Bremerton, Washington passed away on Wednesday, February 9, 2022 after suffering a stroke over a year ago that she never fully recovered. Charlene was born June 15, 1939 in Cashmere, Wa. She resided in Bremerton.
Charlene was the youngest and had two sisters, Anna and Barbara. She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. She had a big love for animals, especially her cats. She loved collecting Angels, was an avid bingo player and liked the occasional trip to the casino. Charlene loved sunbathing in the summers. Charlene owned the Dugout Tavern back in the 1960's and was also like a second Mom to many who knew her. She loved going for drives and to lunch at the Golden Star with daughter Angie. Charlene loved playing cards and Yahtzee with her long time friends Doris Thomas and Donna Vargo. She was loved by many and will be very missed.
Charlene was preceded in death by her husband Edward Whitlock, son Larry Whitlock, her parents Charles and Lavelle Moss, sisters Anna and Barbara.
She is survived by Son Kevin Whitlock (Sherri), Daughter's Sherrie Nobles and Angela Whitlock, all of Bremerton. Grandchildren Jeremy Whitlock, Sheresa Whitlock of Bremerton. Patrick and Sarah Whitlock of Georgia Wa, Sharae Snider, Ryan and Casandra Stotts of Sumner Wa. Her Great Grandchildren, Shyanna Whitlock, Malaya Whitlock, Annabelle Whitlock, Rome Whitlock, Jaali Whitlock of Bremerton, Russel Whitlock of Georgia Wa, Scout Snider, Orray Snider, Elle Belle and Gabriel Stotts of Sumner, Wa.
She will be very missed by all who knew her.
