My prayers are with you and your family Marlys as you are dealing with the loss of your beloved Chris.  I have known and worked with Chris for many years at Central Kitsap School district.  I counted him as a friend and someone I enjoyed seeing at all the different departments I have been working in since I retired and became a CKSD substitute office employee.  Chris was a wonderful person to work with and he will be missed dearly.

Our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family Marlys. I have many memories of you and Chris. The memory I am reminded of daily is the kindness Chris showed to my Mom. The love you shared, the memories, and your family  will bring comfort. I am here for you. Hugs to all of you.

It is with a very heavy heart that I would like to offer my condolences, best wishes, and strength to the Tonge family.

Seeing Chris and Marlys for their date night every Friday I worked was the highlight of my day. Rain or shine, 20 degrees or 80 degrees, they'd be here. It was something I counted on and looked forward to. They had their favorite balls to use (always yellow for Chris). They always used a house putter, and they always came back in smiling and laughing, regardless of who won (Chris had a substantial overall lead I believe). They kept track of who won each week, and this Friday would have been their 120th week of continuing the tradition.

We lost an amazing friend, customer, and a truly fun incredible soul. You were well loved and liked by everyone in the Northwest Golf Range family Chris, and you will truly be missed.

Our prayers, thoughts and well wishes are extended to the entire Tonge family. If he was 1/2 as fun and kind away from the putt putt course as he was while he was here, it must have been a true gift to spend time with him.
