A beloved, admirable, compassionate, loving daughter, sister, mother, grandmother and friend to many.
Cloeen was Born in Spanish Fork, Utah, October 11th, 1931. She moved to Bremerton, Washington as a little girl with her parents and siblings.
Cloeen touched many hearts throughout her days here on earth.
In her younger years of having a family, she and her husband moved to Huntington Beach California, where she became a cosmetologist. She loved everything beauty. She later became a compassionate in-home nurse for many years. She loved everyone as though they were her own.
Cloeen loved dancing and had a passion for the arts, and boy was she talented. She specifically loved painting with oils and made sure she personalized an oil painting for each of her children and grandchildren so they would have a piece of her forever.
A mother of 6 children and many grandchildren, great and great great grandchildren! She would look around at all our family when we would get together and smile with so much joy and she would say, “I created all of this.” She was so proud of her family, and we all were so proud to be hers. Cloeen held every single one of us and has loved us all unconditionally, even up till her last days here with us.
After a long battle, dementia finally took her life at the age of 89 on July 24th at 3:43 am Saturday 2021. She passed in the comfort of her home surrounded and held by her family. She will be truly missed, for she was such an incredible woman.
She is now reunited with her parents, her husband, John Ray LaFazia and many other family members that have passed before her.
Cloeen is survived by her sister, Iona J. Sund, her son Johnnie Joseph LaFazia, and daughters, Karen Anne Killion, Kathy Lynn Korlaskie, Cynthia Lee LaFazia, Maria Cloeen Lafazia Hale/Hammer and Theresa LaFazia Crandall.
