“Macc Dundee”
July 31, 1983 to January 11, 2025
Daniel Jacob Shepherd was born July 31, 1983 to Pearl and Henry Shepherd of Bremerton, Washington by way of Dallas, Texas. Having arrived on the date of their wedding anniversary, Daniel entered the world destined for the spotlight from the very beginning.
Humble beginnings would be the best way to describe the Shepherd household that eventually consisted of seven people a short two years later. Mom, Dad, one girl and yes, four boys. Daniel was a middle child who often relished his alone time, which allowed him to create, explore, analyze, and develop. He was always musically inclined, having been introduced to Gospel music and musical instruments at a young age. His passion for music grew, leading him to develop the skills and discipline needed to become a musical conglomerate aka genius.
Captivating, dynamic and spellbinding. Those words best describe the self-made emcee affectionately known as” Macc Dundee”. Dundee is a rapper, poet and entrepreneur who built and sat at the helm of Dundeal Entertainment, a multi-media entertainment company. He made music from his heart, designed to bring his listeners on a tour into his creative world. Dundee’s music has been well received by his peers and fans alike across the world.
Daniel “Macc Dundee” is survived by his sons, Deandre Shepherd, Deshaun Castro, granddaughter Janae’ Deanna, father Hank Shepherd (Pearl), siblings Jewel Shepherd-Sampson (Darius), Joshua Shepherd, Isaiah Shepherd, Jonathan Shepherd (Denise).
Daniel came into the world and occupied the spotlight wherever he stepped foot. He will forever be remembered as the emcee that gave words light. May his legacy continue to shine brightly.
