Dewetta Harless

In Tacoma, WA, on 4 October 2023, Dewetta (Dee) Harless, loving Mother of Timothy Hollingsworth (deceased as infant), Kathleen (Kathy) Duncan, and Scott Harless, Sr; Grandmother of Robert Duncan, Jason Clary, Donnie Wall, Renee’ Wall, Jamie Harless, and Scott James Harless, Jr., passed from this world. She was preceded in death by her son, Timothy Hollingsworth; husband, Hugh Harless; parents, Elmer and Elva Williams; and brother, Robert Williams.

Dee was born 8 March 1937 in Greenville, CA. In 1999, she retired after 29 years of Federal service from then Top Secret Stealth F-117A aircraft program at McClellan AFB, CA. In her free time, she enjoyed sewing, reading, and travel; she was ready to go at a moment’s notice!

In 2018 Dee made a brave decision to follow her son’s move to Poulsbo, then Bremerton, Washington. After enduring the California summer heat her whole life, she loved the cooler weather and beautiful country here!

Friends and family are invited to attend a visitation in Bremerton, WA, from 12:00pm – 4:00pm, on 14 October 2023, at Miller Woodlawn Funeral Home and Memorial Park, 5505 Kitsap Way, Bremerton. In Citrus Heights, CA, the visitation will be 3:00pm – 7:00pm, 27 October 2023, at Reichert’s Funeral Home, 7320 Auburn Blvd, Citrus Heights. Graveside services are to be held at Sylvan Cemetery, 7401 Auburn Blvd., Citrus Heights, CA, on 28 October 2023, at 10:00am.
