Donald Charal Schultz

August 19, 1946 - December 10, 2024

Don went to be with his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ on December 10, 2024.

He was born to Patricia Stevens and Donald Wayne Schultz of Bremerton on August 19, 1948. He graduated in 1964 in Colfax, WA and attended college in Eastern, WA.

He is survived by his daughter Angela (Eric) Branson; son, Travis (Tonya) Schultz; grandchildren, Austin, Dustin, and Allison; sister, Melanie Rasmussen; niece, Hilary Williamson; great-nieces, Ella, Sophia, and Ava. He was preceded in death by his wife of nearly 50 years, Lila Schultz, on March 3, 2015.

He was also survived by his partner of over 9 years, Cj Nevijel. He and Cj enjoyed ballroom dancing at the Elks and the Eagles with their many friends and traveling to diverse countries all over the world.

Don was a long-time member of Community of Christ at Memorial Lutheran Church where he taught adult Sunday School for many years, as well as serving on the Board of Elders, and later maintained fellowship with other Lutheran churches nearby. He enjoyed Men’s Breakfast twice a month with Eric, Steve, Dan, and Dave. He loved golfing with his son, son-in-law, and his friends, Wayne, and Tony.

He worked for Kitsap County as a Road Supervisor for years. He regretfully retired from his job early to care for his wife who had Alzheimer's.
