Mrs. Dorothy M. Crumpton was born Oct. 2, 1929 in Newelleton, Louisiana to the late E. Walker and W. Lewis. She is preceded by her late husband, Fred Crumpton; and two sisters, M. Simmons and M. Wandix. Mrs. Crumpton has been a life time member of Mt. Zion Baptist church. She was a member of the Women’s Circle. Mrs. Crumpton was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She went home to be with the Lord on Friday, Sept. 18, 2015. She leaves behind to cherish her memory five children: Wilmanette, LaVerne and Angelia Lynn - all of Bremerton, Lindsey Landell of Spokane and Ivan and Kathy Crumpton of Renton; two sisters, V. Williams and D. Walker of Bremerton. Mrs. Crumpton has six grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren and a host of cousins, nieces, nephews, relatives and many friends. Viewing is at Miller-Woodlawn Funeral Home in Bremerton, 4-8 p.m. on Oct. 2, 2015. Services will be held at Mt. Zion Baptist Church on Oct. 3, 2015 at noon.
