Echo passed away quietly with some family members at her side. Born to Wes and Iva Strassburg in Pequot Lakes, MN, she met her future husband, Bob, in Bremerton at the Chateau Roller Rink and they married January 11, 1948. Echo worked at PSNS, the United Way Campaign and the Bremerton School District before retiring. She enjoyed camping trips with her family and genealogy. She was preceded in death by her husband of 60 years, her parents, three brothers and a sister. Echo is survived by a son Robert (Phyllis) and daughters Debra Smith (Larry) and Denise Beck (Jon), two sisters, six grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.
A visitation will be held Tuesday August 29th at Miller-Woodlawn Funeral Home from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Her Celebration of Life will be at Miller Woodlawn Funeral Home in Bremerton Wednesday August 30th at 10 a.m.
