Edith Isaig Bajado, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend, passed away on December 31, 2015 in the afternoon, with her two children by her side. Edith was born in 1939 to Donato Catayong Isaig and Leona Cordero Cordero in General MacArthur, Eastern Samar, Philippines. She earned her Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education at Assumption College and Divine Word University in Tacloban, and taught elementary school for a decade in her home country. She was married on November 26, 1967 to Dioscoro Colima Bajado in the Philippines, and came to the States after their marriage. Edith retired after a 25 year career teaching pre-schoolers in Child Care Centers for the US Navy. She is preceded in death by her husband, both parents, and all but 3 of her 12 siblings. Surviving relatives include her daughter Toni Michelle Stankovic, son Deo Brian Bajado, son-in-law Sladjan Stankovic, grand-daughter Milica Stankovic, uncle Gregorio Paderogo, sisters Victorina Anosa and Eutropia Sabong, brother Cayetano Isaig, and many nieces, nephews and extended family.
