Eric Vincent Haugen

Eric Vincent Haugen, age 64, passed away at St. Michaels Medical Center in Silverdale, WA on Monday, October 14, 2024. He was a loving son, brother, uncle, great-uncle, cousin, and friend. Eric loved being a volunteer firefighter and a wildland firefighter. He enjoyed watching NASCAR races, the UW Huskies and the Seattle Seahawks. He was fiercely independent and had a passion for spicy hot food.

He is survived by his sister Carla Vogt (Jerry), brother Kevin Haugen (Jennie), nephew Nicholas Vogt, niece Anne Rust (Jacob) and grandnieces Hannah and Mary Rust. He is preceded in death by his mother MaryJo (Eiler) Haugen and his father Monte Haugen.

Eric lived his entire life in Bremerton, Washington, graduating in 1978 from Central Kitsap High School.

The family would like to express our sincere gratitude to the wonderful doctors and nurses of the ICU who took such great care of Eric during his final days and were with him, so he wasn’t alone when he left this world for Heaven.

Graveside Services are at 10:00 am on Thursday, November 21, 2024, at Miller-Woodlawn Funeral Home and Memorial Park 5505 Kitsap Way, Bremerton, WA.
