Francisco "Frank" Mateo Bautista Jr., 67, passed away Thursday, March 28, 2013 at Harborview Medical Center in Seattle, WA. Frank was born on May 12, 1946 in Pilpila, Sta. Ignacia, Tarlac, Philippines to Presentacion and Francisco Bautista Sr. He was the second eldest of 3 children. Frank served in the Navy as a Mess Management Specialist for 22 years and worked at Puget Sound Naval Shipyard as a Welder for 20 years. He is survived by his wife Elsie Bautista and their three children: Elaine, Henry, and Joy. Frank and Elsie were married on October 23, 1971. He enjoyed cooking, camping/RV-ing, traveling and cruising, carpentry, and being outdoors. Some of his favorite activities were gardening, razor clamming, working around the house, and playing racquetball with his family. He especially loved spending time with his wife and children and their four grandchildren and growing in his relationship with Christ. He was well known for his free spirit, kind nature, and simplicity to relax and enjoy the joys of life. His willing heart to serve has touched those close to him and those in the surrounding community. He loved, was loved, and will be deeply missed.
