Georgianna Madeline Crane, 84 of Bremerton, Washington passed away on August 9, 2026. She was born in Seattle, Washington on October 5, 1941, 2 months before Pearl Harbor. She grew up in Seattle, the family farm in White Center and West Seattle. Georgianna graduated Holy Rosary High School in 1959, then attended the University of Washington where she received a B.A of Arts, Elementary Ed. in 1964. She taught for 35 years in the Seattle School District, Anchorage Borough School District, Bremerton School District, South Kitsap School District and Central Kitsap School District. She taught Kindergarten, first grade, second grade and third grade. She spent most of her career at Jackson Park Elementary teaching first grade. She retired in June of 2003.
She enjoyed spending her time with her family and friends. She loved to send cards to all her friends at every holiday or special event. She enjoyed her garden and planting her favorite bubble gum petunias every spring, along with her mason bees.
Preceded in death by her sister Demetria Shew, her father Roland Shew and mother Marcellina Shew. She is survived by her son & daughter in law Christopher and Jennifer Crane and her two grandchildren Caleb and Dylan Crane.
A Celebration of Life will be held Sunday August 30, 2026 at 3 pm at Miller- Woodlawn in Bremerton, Wa.
