

Born on October 28th, 1949, in New Iberia Louisiana, to Octave Sr. and Eunice Jackson.He grew up with a love for barbequing and cars. He spent his past time waxing said cars.
After graduating from Jonas Henderson High School, Gerald served in the U.S. Navy before beginning a 30-year career in the Strategic Weapons Facility Pacific (SWFPAC). During this time, he continued his education and interest in studying criminology to apply his skills to his job. As a veteran serving in the Vietnam War and working many years in SWFPAC, Gerald retired in 1999.
Gerald married Jocelyn Mogato Jackson on august 9th, 2002 in front of the Kitsap District Court Judge. He is survived by his wife Jocelyn, children Camisha Jackson, Gerale Jackson, Gentia Clayton, Ja’Dell "JD" Dickerson (Tanya), and Loralyn Jackson. As well as his grandchildren Shaylon Jackson (Chelsea), Azareaya Long (Joesph), Najee Jackson, Akiyah Clayton (Zayhna), Aniecia Clayton, and Amiya Wright. Gerald was also survived by his great grandchildren Uriyah Dickerson, Sofia Dickerson, Levi Jackson, and Sekani Clayton.
Gerald was preceded in death by his parents, Octave Sr. Jackson, and Eunice Dauphine Jackson. Also his brothers and sisters: Richard Bill Jackson, Harold James Jackson Sr., Kirby Jackson, Terry Anthony Jackson, Dorothy Jackson Louis, Goldie Jackson Jones, Maudry Jackson.
Gerald is survived by Glen Edward Jackson (Rose), Octave (C.B) Jackson (Hope), John Johnny Jackson (Louberthna), Andrew Paul Jackson, Peggy Ann Jackson, Mildred J Green, and Audery Jackson.
