Gloria Quitugua Lizama

Gloria Lizama (Gloria Garrido Quitugua/Gloria Q. Castro) passed away August 24, 2013. The daughter of Jesus and Antonia Quitugua, she was born November 8, 1945 in Talofofo, Guam. In the early 60’s, she married Jesus (Jesse) Quinata Castro and had five children. In 1967, she moved her whole family stateside. She married her second husband Luis Lizama in 1996.

Gloria was a devout Catholic and raised her children with God. Her dedication to her family was limitless. Gloria was a beautiful and loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren, going to the casino, dancing and shopping. She is preceded in death by her parents, son Steven, and husbands Jesus Castro and Luis Lizama. She is survived by her children, Christine Cruz, Annette Weston, Elaine Mariano and Geraldine Prince; 18 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren; brothers and sisters, Jesusa Charpilloz, Brigida Aguilar, Teresita San Nicolas, Maria Jones, Felix Quitugua, Vincente Quitugua, David Quitugua, Robert Quitugua, Antonette Quitugua, Erlinda Rodriguez, Rosita Quitugua; stepchildren: Randy Lizama, Jesepio Lizama, Anisha Lizama, Jeff Lizama. A visitation will be held at Miller-Woodlawn Funeral Home on Thursday, September 5, 2013 from 5:00pm to 8:00pm. A rosary will be held at 10:20am on Friday, September 6, 2013 at Holy Trinity Catholic Church followed by a Funeral Mass at 11:00am.
