Harold Franklin Reeves

He leaves his wife of 55 years, Katina Reeves, his son Timothy and daughter Jayne.

He was born in Nimmons SC, the son of Claude and Velma Reeves (deceased). His siblings are Gerald Reeves (deceased), Barbara Watson (deceased), Earl Reeves, Dorothy Ziak, Roy Reeves, Carol Brubaker, Janice Olsen and Sharon Reeves.

His childhood years were in SC until his family moved to Westport, Oregon. After graduating from Clatskanie High School in Oregon, he joined the Army/Air Force where he completed his college education.

He served in the Vietnam War and worked in Military Intelligence worldwide.

He met his wife, Katina Karagiorgakis, in Greece and lived there after retiring from the Air Force.

Harold was a talented musician with guitar, piano and singing, an avid reader/writer, and world traveler, fluent in several languages. He loved a good philosophical conversation and had an entertaining sense of humor. Family gatherings were important to him and he visited Oregon and SC frequently.

A Veterans Memorial service and burial will be at Willamette National Cemetery in Portland, Oregon.
