Helen Leafy Barber, born July 22, 1938 in Larimore, ND to John Walker and Geneva Holwager, passed away July 31, 2016 in Gig Harbor, WA. Helen was married to Robert Barber on Sept 7th, 1961. She was a highschool graduate from South Kitsap High School. Helen worked in sales as a Retail Associate. She was preceded in death by her mother, Geneva Holwager. She is survived by her loving husband, Robert Barber, her brother Bob (Connie) Walker from Tennessee, her children Michael (Leslie) Barber, her daughter Judy Barber, and her granddaughters Christle and Faith, 3 Great grandchildren, Isaiah, Jaden, and Kadus. She enjoyed bowling, she was an Eagle Member, she loved to do crosswords, read, garden, and she loved her family. She watched Wheel of Fortune every night, Jeopardy, Buffy, her dog, and Tiger, her cat. She will always be remembered as being very sweet and kind hearted. She had a love for others and her family. There is a celebration of Life 9-4-16 at Orchard Bluff Mobile Home Park at 2pm in Port Orchard.
