to March 1, 2011

Joan passed away on Tuesday 3/1/11, peacefully.

She loved her grandkids dearly, they made her happy every day of her life and she told them so! She enjoyed baking and feeding others! She loved shopping for purses and shoes, she thought that would make a bad day better!!

She was known as the singing and dancing waitress at the Big Apple Diner, she worked there from opening until August of last year. She loved to entertain, and she was good at it!! She will be missed dearly by customers and former coworkers.

Mom: I will miss you every day for the rest of my life, having you as my biggest fan always made me feel great! Thank you for being my best friend, and a kind and caring mother as well, you taught me how to survive and learn from life's experiences. Rest in peace Mommy..

A Memorial Service is scheduled on Monday, March 7, 2011 at 2 p.m. at Miller-Woodlawn Funeral Home.
