Beloved son, brother, uncle, and friend, John Michael Medina Bennett, 27, was taken away suddenly in an accident on July 8, 2012 in Tacoma, WA. The son of Michael and Soledad Bottomley, John was born May 14, 1985, in Yokosuka, Japan. He attended Central Kitsap High School in Silverdale, and went on to obtain his degree from Universal Technical Institute in Phoenix, Arizona. He worked as a Mechanic for Carter Ballard Volkswagon. John loved cars, music, drawing, snowboarding, skateboarding, and sports, including football, soccer, hockey and basketball. Treasuring John’s memory are his parents, Michael and Soledad of Silverdale, WA; brother, Isaac Bennett; sister, Angeline Bennett; sister, Michaella Bottomley (Nick Galloway); niece, Aleiah Sol Galloway; the Baker family; and friend, Jeff Nogle. Visitation for John will be from 4-8 pm on Mon, Jul 16 at Miller-Woodlawn Funeral Home in Bremerton. The Funeral Mass will be at 10 am on Tues, Jul 17 at Our Lady Star of the Sea.
