John Anthony Ostby

John Anthony Ostby of Bremerton, WA has passed away on the 3rd of December 2023 at the age of 57. He was born October 9, 1966, in the city of Bremerton, Washington. The city where he was born and raised in.

His first steps in life were that of the Army, and went on after to become a Union Carpenter, while working on his personal business, Bremboy Constructions. He frequented AA meetings, making new connections and friends along the way, all while taking care of his family.

Not only that, but he found a great passion for wilderness activities, like hiking, fishing and hunting.

He is now in the loving arms of his late Mother, Wanda Hodge, his late Brother, Gus Haley.

He is survived by Yolanda Torres, Ryan Torres, Cecilia Ostby, and his sister Vickey Aguiluz.

“John raised me like his own flesh and blood. I will never forget the days we spent together. I wish I could tell a proper story, but I can’t. Instead, I’ll end off with this. John Ostby was a loving parent and husband. I wish I had the chance to make more memories with him, but the memories I have now will forever stay in my mind.”
