Known to many as Jesse, he led an exceptional life fueled by his passion for golf, driven by a remarkable sense of duty and service to Country, and strengthened by love for his family. In 1965, while working as a golf caddy and pursuing secondary education in his hometown of Baguio City, Philippines, he made the profound decision to join the United States Navy. From that moment on, his chosen path would take him around the world—every step, a brick for building a house full of milestones and memories.
Jesse’s story is a vibrant one, the chapters of which are bound together by his lifelong journey with the game of golf. From it, he learned the value of perseverance, integrity, adaptability, and follow-through. These themes played prominently in every aspect of his life, most notably rising from the enlisted to Naval officer ranks, the many Club Championships he won, and raising a family with his loving wife, Priscilla.
Throughout the adventures of life, Jesse never forgot his humble beginnings, always endeavoring to help others, and sharing the lessons he learned. Leader, mentor, and teacher were some of the many hats worn. Service was a calling he proudly answered.
He is survived by his wife, Priscilla, three children, Patricia, Jonathan, and Jesseca, and his grandchildren Nathan, Ava, Logan, Aria, and Natalie.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests for donations in Jesse's honor be made to the Navy-Marine Corps Relief Society. https://support.nmcrs.org/a/homepage
