Memories; 
I remember when you rode me around on the handlebars of you bike, swerving back and forth when it was time for me to get off. 

The time when grandma Goss sent you to the pig pen to get MUCK (pig waste) to put on the bee sting near my eye. You thought that was funny.

Then there was that time when you, Lee and I went to the Red Barn to try out my new dancing shoes uncle Ronnie sent me from over seas. You guys forgot your beer so to the store we went. Out you boys came with the beer and a sheriff  following you to the car. He made the comment that he sure hoped that you planned to drop me off home before partying as I was precious cargo. I was 13 at the time. We went dancing,it was on the way home.

You were my playmate, uncle and friend. Thank you for being part of my life. Tell mom, Aunt Ester and uncle Ronnie hello from me. Miss and love you.

Grandpa I really will miss spending time with you. I used to love watching all the Mariners games, and westerns with you.I will also miss having our political debates no matter what I said you wouldn't budge on your beliefs,  I really admired that about you. You taught me what it meant to behave myself. I love you so much, and hope to see you again. Hit a homerun in Heaven for me. I love you. P.S. "Get out of Bed". :)

  I'm going to miss driving you around town to your appointments and listening to your stories, or just going for a drive around the county so you could get out of the house.  
  I won't be able to watch the Mariners and Seahawks without thinking of you since you were obviously better qualified to be their coach.  
  I will do my best to keep an eye on your sister for you.

Uncle Joe, I am sorry we lost touch during the years, I never met your children but I will always remember you gave me my first baseball glove when I could not afford one as a child.

Uncle Joe, as a child you scared me with your booming voice and size; a mountain from my point of view.

As a teenager I realized this was just how you were; big, loud and rough around the edges with a sense of humor a little bit off center.

Then as an adult I watched you interact with those around you young to old and realized; that gruff, rough, loud, opinionated man was just a cover for the soft heart beneath that he wasn't sure how to share, but you did in your own way.

There is an ache in my heart that will be filled with all the treasured memories made with you over the years. I will remember the love, joy, teasing and laughter you gave my children and my grandchildren. The calls to grandma after every Mariners game no matter if they one or lost. 

In other words you stubborn man I will miss you greatly and love you always!

Dad can hardly believe that your gone. Im so glad you were my dad. We weren't always close when i was growing up but we definitely made up for that in the last 30+ years. We became friends. I know you are in a better place and we will see each other again. You may be gone but you will never be forgotten. Love you always

Joe was my father in law and became a friend.  He had a sense of humor that was great. He was an interesting guy to say the least. I'll surely miss him.

Dad, you will be missed so much!! I'm happy and thankful for all the memories our family shared with you. I will miss you teAsing me so much. Telling me I can go back to sleep. 
It's my turn to tell you "go to sleep " ! Till I see you again. I will take care of your son as I know he will miss you. You have raised a good son in my Brian. Thank you for that too!!!
