“Joe,” son of Lewis and Veronica Knifong, husband of Marianne Knifong, for the past 50 years, passed away on January 24, 2014, in Bremerton, WA. He was preceded in death by his son, Thomas, “Tommy.” He is survived by his wife, Marianne; his children, Joseph, Nancy, Phillip, and Gerald and 5 grandchildren, April, Alainna, Sophie, Autumn, and Elizabeth. Joseph worked his career as coppersmith/pipe-fitter at Puget Sound Naval Shipyard and at Vigor Shipyard until this time. “Grampa” loved playing with his grandchildren and loved the outdoors. He will be greatly missed by his family and friends. Services will be held at Star Of The Sea, Catholic church on February 7, 2013. Viewing will be February 6, 2014, Thursday at Miller-Woodlawn from 5pm-8pm; February 7, 2014, 10:00-10:30am, Rosary will be at 10:30am and mass at 11:00am with reception following all at Star Of The Sea.
