Dear Joshua,
unfortunately, we never had the chance to meet in person or get to know each other well. Nevertheless, your kindness, your genuineness and your goodness that shone through the messages we exchanged will stay with me forever. You will always be an inspiration for the determination with which you pursued a healthy lifestyle. Thank you for everything, you will remain in my heart for the rest of my life, just as you are in everyone's heart.  Rest in peace and watch over us from heaven.

Joshua, you will always have a special place in my heart. You were my very first USO Zumba student in Guam, and you became so much more than a student—you became family. 

I will always remember your smile, your energy, your kindness, and the joy you brought to everyone around you. I still can’t believe you’re gone. You were far too young, and my heart hurts so much. 

Thank you for all the beautiful memories.  I’m so grateful our paths crossed. I will miss you deeply, and I will carry you in my heart forever.

We miss Joshua so much and cherish the opportunity we had for special times with young Joshua as his Uncle Yuri and Auntie Tess (before Noah was born)… and then later when he blessed us with his tender heart, especially as a Kuya to Noah.  We will forever treasure Joshua sharing that he and Noah connected and have an understanding of one another.  

We believe God sees and always knew Joshua’s beautiful heart and soul and we trust that His love surrounds Joshua now and for all eternity with our loving Savior Jesus Christ.  We are praying and will continue to pray.  

We are deeply saddened for your loss, as Joshua’s parents.  We cannot fully understand, but we pray that you will be blessed with the best and happiest memories until that time when we are reunited with our loved ones and there will be no more tears.
