Justin was born on a snowy March 1st, 1989 in Bremerton. Justin was small, cute and always a little behind his peers. Yet we thought it was because his sister did all the talking for him. Nothing came easy to Justin and he would work hard to try and keep up. He attended Silverdale Elementary, CKJH, and CK High School. He played soccer, a little league baseball for Chico; wrestled and ran track at CKJH, and tennis at CK High School. He enjoyed friends, video games, movies, riding dirt bikes and atv’s later on.
In Junior High- Justin became diagnosed with epilepsy after having a couple of seizures. His doctors and medicines help to keep this condition under control most of the time.
He always enjoyed being around his buddies Kurt, Caitlin, and Lazerick. They knew him better than anyone. They were his best friends.
Justin continued in life skills classes at Central Kitsap for 2 years after high school, and then entered the Job Corp in Moses Lake for 2 years and graduated with his culinary arts certification.
Justin lived on his own for his adult years, knowing he could be at risk for injury due to his epilepsy, but he usually had a friend, or neighbor, or family around if he needed help. He always appreciated the help, but was usually too quiet to say it. He was a man a few words, but when he had something to say, he said it. Justin is survived by his Mother Debbie and Father Mike, his sister Valerie, and his brother in law Ash. He also leaves behind Grandmother Pat, Grandpa Chuck and Grandma Judi and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins. He was with us for too short of time, but he will still be with us in our memories forever. Justin would want any donations to be made to :Epilepsy Center Fund in memory of Justin Sechrest - UW Medicine Advancement - 850 Republican St. Seattle, Wa 98109 or Kitsap Humane Society, or Kitsap Foodbank.
