Kathleen Barnes, age71, passed away peacefully on Sunday, November 3, 2019 at Harrison Medical Center in Bremerton, WA. She was born June 5, 1948 in Boston, Massachusetts to Donald and Corinne (Flannery) McNaught. She gave birth to three boys; Thomas, Christopher, and Timothy, and in 1977 they relocated to Washington.

On June 8, 1979 she married her Husband, Colin Barnes, and shortly thereafter she attended Bates Technical College and obtained her Cosmetology license. She was the owner of a local Barber shop, Fresh Cuts, for several years until she retired to help raise her youngest grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her mother; Corinne, Her beloved son; Christopher, her brother; Raymond, and her sister; Corinne. She is survived by her husband; Colin, her sons; Thomas and Timothy, her daughter in law; Lanae, her 4 siblings, her 5 Grandchildren, 7 Great-Grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.

There will be a service to celebrate her life at Miller-Woodlawn Memorial Park on Saturday, November 16, 2019 at 1:00pm. There will be a Visitation held at 11:00am followed by the service and a reception to celebrate the life of this amazing woman who will be greatly missed by everyone’s lives she touched.
