

Ken was born on 9 August 1947, in Cody, Wyoming, to Edward & Phyllis Dodge. He has two sisters, Claudia (Dodge) Mantlo, and Nikki (Dodge) Hardy. Kenny grew up in Grand Junction, Colorado, where he met Judy Holt. They married on 13 June 1969, in Grand Junction, CO, and as a result of this union had six children: Clinton Dodge, Dawn (Dodge) Asay, Heather (Dodge) Davis, Amber (Dodge) Clegg, and Misty (Dodge) Kim, and Autumn Dodge (stillborn). After the passing of his wife Judy in 1995, he married Patrice Bramwell (February 1997 to December 2014), and gained three step-daughters; Joy Jarvis, Whitney (Jarvis) Turrieta, and Kristen Empie.
Kenny graduated from Grand Junction High School in 1965. His educational pursuits led him to The Naval Academy in Annapolis, Maryland, where he graduated with a bachelor’s degree in nuclear engineering in 1969. He served in the United States Navy and served on submarines most of his career. His naval career spanned three decades, from 1966-1993, when he retired as a Commander in the United States Navy. Following his retirement, he worked at several different odd jobs to occupy his time and get him out interacting with people, something he loved to do. His final retirement was from the Naval Shipyard in Bremerton, WA, in 2015.
Due to his military career, he has lived in many different places: Cody, WY: Grand Junction, CO; Annapolis, MD; Idaho Falls, ID; Charleston, South Carolina; Saratoga Springs, NY; Aiea, HI; Silverdale, WA; Ledyard, CT; and Bremerton, WA.
Ken was an active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, where he served faithfully. He was also involved in his children’s activities as a coach and a proud parent.
Kenneth E. Dodge was survived by his children: Clinton & Jennifer Dodge, Dawn & Brett Asay, Heather & Cody Davis, Amber & Michael Clegg, Misty & Phil Kim; grandchildren: Olivia, Alex, Aaron, Jacob, Rebekah, & Jenny Dodge; Caleb, Eli, Emily, & Claire Asay; Autumn, Abby, April, & North Davis; Joseph, Alison, Samantha, & Dustin Clegg; Tyler, Dallin, Bryce, & Austin Kim; and Joslyn Jarvis; mother: Phyllis Dodge; and siblings: Claudia & Dick Mantlo and Nikki & Mark Hardy; his in-laws: Boyd M. Holt and Karen (Holt) McCraley; other extended family members; his wife of 18 years: Pat (Bramwell) Dodge; and his step-children: Joy Jarvis, Whitney (Jarvis) & Victor Turrieta, and Kristen Empie.
The funeral service will be on Monday, 29 February 2016, at Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Silverdale Stake Center, 9256 Nels Nelson Rd NW, Bremerton, WA, at 11:00 a.m. Visitation will be at 10:00 a.m. at the Silverdale Stake Center, and the graveside service will be at 1:00 p.m. at Miller Woodlawn, 5505 Kitsap Way, Bremerton, WA 98312.

Kenneth was predeceased by Judy (Holt) Dodge, December 1995 and Autumn Leigh Dodge (stillborn), October 1984.
He is loved and will be missed by many.
