Leocadio Apuron Torres

Leocadia Augusto Apuron Torres, 83, of Bremerton, WA, passed away on September 13, 2022, in Seattle, WA. Leo was born on August 18, 1939, in Agana, Guam, USA. He graduated form George Washington High School and received and Associates degree from Guam Community College. He met and married Juanita borja Mafnas Torres, in 1967. Leo had a career in PSNS as a journeyman Shipfitter for the Puget Sound Naval Shipyard. He had a passion for gardening, family gatherings, watching his grandson play sports, watching the Seahawks and Mariners, Avid Casino goer, and loved to travel. He is preceded in death by Luis and Consolation Nededog Torres (grandparents), Severino Ricardo and Ana Taijito Apuron (grandparents), Juanita B. Mafnas-Torres (Wife), Delila Messersmith (Daughter), Jesus Nededog Torres (Father), Francisca Apuron Torres (Mother), Tommy A. Torres (brother), Lucia Fernandez Torres (sister in-law), Isidro A. Torres (brother), Lila Ulloa Torres (sister in-law), Ana T. San Nicolas (sister), Vicente C. San Nicolas (brother in-law), Simon A Torres (brother), Jose Flores (brother), Mariano Mendiola (brother in-law). He is survived by Evie San Agustin (partner), Maria Consolation T. Flores (sister), Alberta T. Mendiola (sister), Frances T. Santos (sister), Vincente S.N. Santos (brother in-law), Susie A. Torres (sister), Ronald M Torres (son), Dean Messersmith (son in-law), Nicholas A. Torres (grandson), Dejah-Marie W. Antonio (granddaughter). Services will be held at the Elks Picnic Shelter on September 25, 2022 at 12 PM. The address is 4131 Pine Road NE Bremerton WA 98310.
