For many years we were lucky to be neighbors with Louise and her husband Arne.  We remember Louise was always the gracious hostess especially at Christmas gatherings, summer picnics in her yard,  and her Oscar Night parties.    She was forever supportive in neighborhood activities and would bring bouquets of flowers to us and our mother, Ethel Singer.  She courageously fought her progressive loss of vision and always attempted to continue her activities.  Her life-long friendship with her sister Lucy was a true benefit and they always were up to mischief.
