Maria R. Fry died at home Dec. 31, 2018, at age 95 of natural causes . She was born Maria Martha Ruf, April 26, 1923, in Stuttgart Germany. Her parents were Anna Katharina Dongus of Deckenpfronn Germany and Erwin Helmut Ruf of Stuttgart Germany. She was a lifelong member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints and was active for years in genealogical research and music callings in the Manette Ward of the Church. She taught piano lessons to beginning students in her home for over 20 years and was a member of the area piano teachers Assn. She and her surviving husband, Alan Dale Fry, were married over 71 years. She is survived by her sister, Esther Robinson, of Rexburg, Idaho. Descendants include 4 children: Marialyn Prange of Kingston, Wa.; Lorraine Fry (Hart) of Salt Lake City; Dale Willis Fry of Yelm, Wa. And Michael Spencer Fry of Palmer Alaska, 24 grandchildren and over 50 great grandchildren. Funeral services will be at the LDS Perry Ave. chapel January 12th , 11 am. with Bishop Blake Hill presiding.
