Marsha is survived by her mother Mauna Lehmann of Tacoma, WA, sister Kimmy of Long Beach, WA, her five (5) nieces and nephews she devoted her life to raising Skylar Lehmann, Casey (Brannon) Ewert, Nick Goodlin, Jessy Goodlin, and Tyler Goodlin all of Port Orchard, one adored grandniece Leliana Ewert of Port Orchard, her aunt Linda and several cousins.
Marsha helped her mom raise her little sister after her parents divorced.
She graduated from South Kitsap in 1989, worked at Skippers (where she and Heidi Gunter cemented a life-long friendship)until her mid-twenties when she became a dedicated stay home caregiver of her beloved nieces and nephews. She was an amazing, devoted aunty-mom! She instilled in her kids the knowledge of how to be hard working, honest, and fair. When the girls entered Girl Scouts, Marsha did too! She became a Girl Scout Troop leader where she met Jennifer Richardson who became one of her two (2) best friends. She did not neglect her precious boys Nick and Tyler Goodlin, when they were old enough, she became active with the Boy Scouts.
Marsha touched many lives starting in school, the people she worked with and her customers at Skipper’s in the early 1990’s. The “Regulars” (customers) looked forward to seeing Marsha and Heidi working as they knew they would be entertained and well cared for, often remarking that a cover charge should be implemented. All of the children she worked with in the Girl and Boy Scouts as well as the Adults as Jennifer can attest to. She never missed an opportunity to be there for the kids; they were her life. You would find her at every event, next to her mom Mauna, clapping and cheering as loud as possible for them. She was their #1 fan. On the flip side, should the kids make mistakes or not feel well, she was always there to help them do better and make sure they were okay and knew they were loved.
Though her life was cut short at only 54 years they were years filled with love and care and to her five kids she was nothing short of amazing. She gave everyone she touched wonderful memories with her and affected so many lives. She will forever be loved and missed terribly by all her friends and family.
We love you Marsha, rest easy.
