She was born Margaret Anne Huntington on July 7, 1959 in Ruby, Alaska. She was Alaskan Athabaskan Indian and was the 16th child born to the Huntington’s. At 5 weeks old she was adopted by Sharlene Zwieg and brought to Washington state.
As a young child of a Navy family, she lived in California,
Japan and Hawaii. In the early 70’s, the family settled in
Silverdale, WA and later moved to Belfair.
Marsha graduated in 1977 from Central Kitsap High School, in Silverdale.
Her interests and hobbies included cooking for her family and friends, playing board games, dice, and bingo, often going to her Aunt Junes’ to play. She watched “The Price is Right”
religiously and often times spoke of going to Los Angeles to be on the show. Other interests were reading, watching crime stories on television, caring for her home and pets.
She is survived by her father Walt Zwieg, two brothers, Kevin and Wally, and sister, Vicki Zwieg. Marsha loved her family. She was kind, generous, caring, and loving. A special thanks to the Huntington family for giving us such a wonderful person all those years ago. We are grateful to have had her in our lives and part of our family. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
We love you, Marsha
