Maud Goossens

Maud Goossens was born Tjepoe, Indonesia on 9-6-1930 and passed away in Port Orchard, WA. 12-25-2015. She was taken away from us on Christmas morning to be with her heavenly father. She was surrounded by her loved ones and loving caregiver by her side. Maud was preceded in death by her loving husband of 63 years Emile and son Fritz Goossens. Maud is survived by eight of her remaining children; Robert Goossens, Jack Goossens, Pete Goossens, Jane Hall, Patricia Haddock, Terry Goossens, Frank Goossens and Esther Mendiola. She also has 23 Grandchildren and 37 Great Grandchildren. Her legacy will live on through all her children. Maud was a well rounded person who enjoyed traveling with her husband, singing in the church choir, camping trips with her family, hunting, horseback riding, dancing and playing tennis. Mostly she devoted her life to to her Husband, Children and Grandchildren. Maud was a incredible Indonesian cook. She traveled the world many times over. Visiting Australia, Holland, Indonesia and Spain were she developed many friendships where every they visited. Maud had a unconditional love for all animals. She also had a career as a CNA/LPN and retired with many years of service to others. Maud will be remembered for her superb smile and contagious laughter, generous heart, fun loving but strong personality, unending faith and total commitment to her culture and family. Maud stood for respect, love and honor. We as your family, will emulate what you and dad have taught us. Mom enjoy your long awaited reunion with the love of your life!
