

Melvin was born on November 4, 1929, in Harlowton, Montana. His parents were Nick and Eva May Weber. He moved to Bremerton, Washington when he was 13 after the death of his parents. He lived with his uncle and aunt, F. Rolly, and Vivian Pettis.
Melvin graduated on June 4, 1949, from Bremerton High School, with honors, He married Aletta G Widell on August 20, 1950. He worked in the Puget Sound Naval Shipyard until 1985 when he retired as a General Forman.
Melvin is preceded in death by his wife Aletta, parents Nick and Eva May Weber, brothers Edward, William and George Weber, and his sister Josephine Erickson.
Melvin is survived by his 3 children, sons: D. Craig Weber (Jennifer) and John Weber and daughter Nikki Baglio (John). Also, by 4 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren
A graveside service will be held 11:00AM September 8, 2026, at Forest Lawn Cemetery in Bremerton, Washington.
A Celebration of Life will be at Johns and Nikki's home in Port Orchard, Washington at 1:00 PM September 8, 2026.
A Committal Service will be held at Forest Lawn Cemetery, 5409 Kitsap Way, Bremerton, WA 98312, US, on September 8, 2026, from 11:30 am to 12:00 pm.
