Michael honorably served in the United States Air Force. After his honorable discharge, he went to work for Boeing, where he was a chief mechanic on their Field Service team for over 20 years. During his time with Boeing, he flew all over the world and always strived to fully embrace and experience the cultures of the places he visited. The experiences he gained through his years of travel remained some of his most cherished memories. When he was home, he enjoyed off-roading and spending as much time in nature as possible. He believed that time in nature could heal even the deepest wounds—a quality that he passed down to both of his children.
Michael was preceded in death by his parents; his brother, Daniel; his first wife, Kiera; and his second wife, Catherine. He is survived by his children, Aaron and Adriann Dooly; his grandchildren, Kiera and Brendan Dooly; and numerous other relatives and dear friends.
His life will be honored and celebrated at a later date.
We lie as we lie,
And we go as we go,
By the lay of the stars,
And how the wind does blow.
-Mike Dooly
