In my research on Neurology I've studied the issue of grief.
When my father Frank passed away I started hearing his voice very prominently in my head.
I thought if I had to listen to my Father's voice I'd rather glue him back together.
Then it became clear that it is not a preoccupation with the deceased as some research stated.
I developed the belief that as the "electrical life source" leaves the body it is still emitting energy and currents.
I did not have the experience with Grandparents or other deaths so I speculate this phenomenon happens with people you're very close to and immediate family.
As time goes by the voice wanes and then disappears. Only occasionally heard after.
That's my story and I'm sticking to it.
(Unless the ongoing 22 yr crime of Technological Torture I am victimized by has interfered with my results.)
Leslie Cain said she also had similar experience with her parents deaths.
I offer those words of comfort and earnestly pray that my dear Mary will find comfort and peace and God will heal your families broken hearts.
